Ethan Allen Maison Sleigh Bed Value Guide

The Ethan Allen Maison Sleigh Bed is a hallmark of the late 20th-century French provincial revival, blending country farmhouse warmth with a sophisticated curved silhouette. Crafted from solid pine during the 1990-2005 era, this piece remains highly collectible for its durable American craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic.

What affects the value of Ethan Allen Maison Sleigh Bed?

• Overall condition of the pine wood, as softer woods are more prone to surface scratches, dents, or gouges over time.
• Completeness of the set, including the original side rails and all necessary structural metal hardware.
• The presence of the original finish; pieces that have been painted or heavily refinished generally command lower prices than those with the original factory stain.
• Current market demand for the Maison collection's specific French provincial and country farmhouse styling.

How to Identify Ethan Allen Maison Sleigh Bed?

• Look for the authentic Ethan Allen maker's mark or branded stamp typically located on the interior of the side rails or the back of the headboard.
• Identify the distinct Maison collection design featuring a panelled headboard and footboard with a traditional rolled top.
• Verify the material is solid pine wood, characterized by its specific grain patterns and warm, honey-toned finish.
• Check for original metal hardware and heavy-duty bolt-on rail systems consistent with Ethan Allen's manufacturing standards.
