What affects the value of Thomas Kinkade The Light of Peace?

• Physical condition of the paper print, specifically looking for any fading from UV exposure or foxing.
• The integrity of the original wood frame and glass; damage to the frame can significantly lower the $250-$300 market price.

• Market demand for lighthouse-themed Kinkade works compared to his more common cottage or garden scenes.

How to Identify Thomas Kinkade The Light of Peace?

• Verify the 1998 copyright date and the distinct 'The Light of Peace' title printed on the piece or backing.
• Look for the signature Kinkade style characterized by high-contrast 'glowing' highlights within the lighthouse lantern and ocean spray.
• Check for the presence of a high-quality wood frame and glass, which were standard for these authorized United States releases.
